Desawana Music was born from a passion for Sinhala music. Since 2015, we've been connecting artists with fans across Sri Lanka and around the world.
We believe Sinhala music deserves a modern, dedicated platform where artists can shine and fans can easily discover great music.
Desawana Music started in 2015 as a small personal blog dedicated to sharing Sinhala songs. The founder, a passionate music lover from Colombo, noticed there was no dedicated platform for Sinhala music online.
What started with just 50 songs quickly grew as more music lovers discovered the site. By 2018, we had redesigned the platform with a modern mobile-friendly interface and expanded to over 200 songs.
Today, Desawana Music is Sri Lanka's #1 Sinhala music platform with 3 songs, music videos, lyrics, guitar chords, DJ remixes, and a growing community of artists and fans.
Our journey continues โ we're constantly adding new features, new songs, and new ways to connect fans with the music they love.
A passionate team of music lovers, developers and creators working to bring you the best Sinhala music experience.
Discover amazing Sinhala music, support local artists, and be part of Sri Lanka's biggest music community.
