Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera, Minister of Power & Energy, says that the deficiencies in the daily fuel distribution for the last 4 days have been rectified and made efficient.
The minister mentions that the petroleum storage terminal has been started to distribute 4,000 metric tons of diesel and 3,000 metric tons of gasoline daily.
In a Twitter note, the minister mentioned that another 35,000 metric tons of 92 type petrol is to be unloaded tonight. The fuel needed for buses and school children transport vehicles is also being distributed.
