The Sri Lanka netball team,
which won the Asian championship for the 6th time, arrived on the island today at 12.50 am
and the Sri Lanka cricket team at 05 am this morning.A special ceremony has been organized at
the Katunayake International Airport to welcome them and the athletes are to be brought to Colombo
from the Katunayake Airport in a motorcade.
The motorcade is scheduled to start from Katunayake Airport at 06.30 am today and reach the Freedom Mawatha via Peliyagoda Junction, Maradana Junction,Dali Road, Union Place, Alexandra Road on the Colombo-Negombo road and special receptions have been organized at those places.
