The National Dengue Control Unit stated that the number of dengue cases across the island has increased by about 18 percent in the last week.
A total of 1,114 dengue cases have been identified, while only 943 dengue cases were reported in the previous week.
During this year, 63,549 dengue cases have been diagnosed in Sri Lanka.
