The underworld in the south is disturbed

A person was shot in the Ahangama area. Police said that one person was killed and another was injured.

The shooting took place inside a restaurant in Ahangama Goviyapana area. A 40-year-old resident of Midigama area has been shot dead.

It has been revealed that he was released from prison two months ago. It is reported that the suspects, who came to the restaurant when the electricity was off, opened fire and fled.

The police said the shooting occurred over a dispute with his wife's elder brother.

The body is scheduled to be taken to Karapitiya Hospital for post-mortem after the Magistrate's examination. Ahangama Police has started further investigations into the incident.
