Police have arrested three suspects in the triple murder in Minuwangoda Gamagedara area yesterday in Galewela area.
The arrested suspects are aged 23, 25, 29. The killing occurred as a result of a dispute over a kite.
The police suspect that the first father and son couple involved in this dispute in 2017, the other father and son couple suspected of murder, the father and the two sons who died yesterday who are suspected of having been killed in 2018, and that the murder was carried out yesterday to take revenge.
The police media spokesperson stated that as a result of this wave of chain killings that started in 2017, 7 people have been killed.
