During the inspection of a parcel sent by post stating that it contains personal goods, the drug stock worth nearly five crore rupees was found.
It is said that 4,956 pills of drugs, which were carefully packed in a box made of cardboard, weighed more than two kilograms.
The relevant drug stock has been handed over to the Narcotics Bureau of the Sri Lanka Police for further investigations.
