Yesterday evening, former President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa arrived in Thailand for temporary accommodation, seeking accommodation in Singapore after his ouster since mid-July.
He arrived at Bangkok's Don Mueang Airport at around 8pm Bangkok time on a flight from Singapore's Seletar Airport.
Rajapaksa's visit to Bangkok is due to the fact that his visa in Singapore expires on the same day.
