The son of a cynical businessman who killed his mother

A 39-year-old resident of Woodland Mawatha in Kohuwala killed his 78-year-old mother.

Investigations have revealed that there are constant conflicts in the respective house. The deceased woman was admitted to the hospital by his wife saying that she had fallen down the stairs.

Later, during the post-mortem examination, it was revealed that the dead woman had finger marks on her neck area and 17 broken ribs in her chest. Her neck was also broken during strangulation and suffocation.

Her son has been arrested by the police.
